Christopher White

Chris White holds an MFA in screenwriting from Boston University and an MS in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. Prior to attending this program, he served in the United States Marine Corps as an 0351 Infantry Assaultman from 2011 to 2015. This included one combat tour to a rather quaint area of Afghanistan known as Marjah. He spent time helping to train the Filipino marines which was an absolute blast despite their lack of prowess with the provided weaponry. He joined the Corps from West Chester, Ohio (If you go to any USMC base, spin around and blindly throw a stone, you will hit someone from Ohio, it’s wild). He did his undergraduate at University of Kentucky where he majored in Media Arts and Studies. He’s always had a real passion for stories, current projects along with Trail of Blood are a thirty-minute dramedy pilot about a retired, old school former Marine Corps drill who becomes his towns cheerleading coach and a feature about an Afghan farmer trying to save his son from being framed as a high ranking member of the Taliban.
